Crafty Nights Out

The Bath Women’s Institute runs a monthly Crafty Night Out which aims to introduce us all to new crafts and skills but also to allow us to share the projects we’re working on and to inspire each other in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We usually meet on the fourth Wednesday or Thursday of the month. In the past we’ve sampled crochet, screen printing, pottery, and even clutch bag making. We’d love your suggestions of the crafts you’d like to learn more about and if you think you could possibly run a craft night for us then we’d also love to hear from you.

The Craft Group is having a bit of a re-vamp and hopefully, we will have an new programme of events ready to roll in September, with meetings scheduled for the fourth Thursday of the month.

This June we are having a ‘bring your own project’ evening on Thursday 22nd, a chance to get on with one of your own projects while having a bit of a natter!  There will be a sign up sheet at the meeting.

  1. Hi everyone! Really looking forward to this event! Just to say that the flowers we’re making will be more like this:

    Felt rosette

But I’ll be showing a variety of ways to make flowers out of upcycled felt.

    See you Thursday!

  2. And what a great night that was! One of your members has written about it over here on her blog:

  3. I just wondered if you do crochet classes for beginners or know where I can find one at a resonable price.
