Notes from the Potting Shed 2013

On Friday the 18th October the garden team updated the bed and planted in for winter. Enormous thanks go tophoto 2 Kitty Lambah who very generously donated the beautiful bay trees which now grace the garden! Kitty also designed the garden plan. Many members of the team also supplied plants, so thank you very much, everyone!

The team managed to harvest and clear the bed, lay out all the planting and plant in by 1pm! Our lady is highlighted by the four bays, and we have planted two curved rosemary arcs which will be clipped cleanly into hedges. Dill, fennel and thyme are complemented by raspberry canes and puffs of strawberries.

We dropped off the produce to Julian House night shelter, who were really pleased.
