March Meeting. – Duncan Campbell
Duncan wowed us with a potted history of fine dining through the ages. He started in medieval times, right up to the present day. Most notable for me was that soup spoons should not be round, use your silver cutlery and you’ll never have to clean it and finally, put silver cutlery in the dishwasher to wash it after a meal. Duncan brought a few items of silver from his shop, Beau Nash, including a turtle soup serving spoon (back to soup again), and a fried egg server. Both Kitty and Trish brought a couple of silver items for him to cast his expert eye over. A great evening and many thanks to Duncan for sharing his expertise.
