We met in the St Mary’s Church Hall for our evening of Fun & Games. We had hoped to play Croquet and Boules in the garden, but the weather defeated us! A few brave hearts ventured out and managed a few rounds of boules, before giving in the beckoning warmth and array of scrumptious food, so scurried back in.
Everyone had brought a plate to share and while we munched and chatted we played a couple of games that Ruth had prepared. Handbag Bingo came first. There was a discreet hint that there might have been some cheating going on, but it was purely some members being more imaginative than others! We then played charades. This was unbelievably competitive and certain members were definitely out to win an oscar!
It was certainly a night to remember. Much laughter, fun and friendships cemented.
