Toppings bookshop have very kindly invited the Bath WI to take part in their evening of preserve tasting with Thane Prince on Tuesday 14th October. The event takes place at Toppings on the Paragon, with doors opening at 7.30 for an 8.00 start.
Celebrated cookery writer, Weekend Chef for the Telegraph, and Queen of preserves Thane Prince will be sharing her knowledge on making delicious jams, jellies, curds, chutneys and more, in your kitchen at home. With over 100 delicious recipes as well as indispensable tips and shortcuts, in Perfect Preserves you’ll find inspiration on every page.
There will be scones and bread for tasting Thane’s very own preserves. She’s very keen for people to bring a jar of their own homemade chutney/pickle/jam to add to the party!
All you need to do is let them know you’re coming in advance so they have your name at the door. Mention you’re a member of the Bath WI and you’ll get your complementary ticket. If you arrive with a jar of something you’ll be extra specially welcomed!
There will be a glass of wine on arrival, a talk and tastings and a book signing at the end.
