The Bath Women’s Institute run a monthly Crafty Night Out which aims to introduce us all to new crafts but also to allow us to share the projects we’re working on and to inspire each other in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
In the past we’ve sampled crochet, screen printing, pottery, and even clutch bag making. We’d love your suggestions of the crafts you’d like to learn more about and if you think you could possibly run a craft night for us then we’d also love to hear from you.
Our next event is Felt Flower Making and is being run
by the lovely Eirlys of Scrapiana. This craft is compact and achievable within a short time and very satisfying. You can expect to complete several flowers and even create a brooch. To reserve a place please get in touch with us at thebathwi@gmail.com
Date Time and Place : February 28th at 8pm at Jika Jika on George Street
Cost: £10 payable on the night (this will also cover the costs of materials)

Hi everyone! Really looking forward to this event! Just to say that the flowers we’re making will be more like this:

But I’ll be showing a variety of ways to make flowers out of upcycled felt.
See you Thursday!

And what a great night that was! One of your members has written about it over here on her blog:
